Industrial Strength Marketing Sponsors Barcamp Nashville to Support Local Digital Community

NASHVILLE, TENN (10/17/09) – Industrial Strength Marketing will be attending and sponsoring Barcamp Nashville on Saturday, Oct. 17th from 8am to 4pm. The event, located at the Cadillac Ranch in downtown Nashville, is slated to draw over 600 attendees from the digital and technical community.

Event attendance is free thanks to the contributions of ISM and fellow local sponsors. ISM is one of three local marketing agencies that will be exhibiting at the event.

“We’re really excited to be taking part in this year’s Barcamp,” said ISM CEO James Soto. “Not many people are aware of ISM’s contribution to interactive marketing. We expect that this event will be an eye-opener for many attendees.”
ISM’s entire staff will be on hand to answer questions, exchange ideas, and search for prospective team members. The ISM staff includes graphic designers, online marketing specialists, web developers, and sales associates with a specialized focus on business-to-business advertising.

Started in 2007 by Marcus Whitney and Dave Delaney, Barcamp Nashville has quickly become Nashville’s premier technology conference. Barcamp is an annual participatory-workshop event that includes attendees in interactive marketing, graphic design, web development, software programming, and social media networking.

Over 50 workshop sessions will take place throughout the day on topics ranging from Cloud Computing to iPhone app development. Sessions begin at 9am, and are are free to all attendees. An after-party event will take place at The Big Bang immediately following the final workshop session at 4pm.
